Soil Investigation for Replacement of OH Reservoir Lakh Gallon at Pump House No at Ayodhya Cantt under AGE (I) Ayodhya ,2.0 ,(A). Carryout boring/drilling 150mm dia, bore hole upto 21 mtr Depth (for RCC OHT) through and type soil/rock as required and directed by Engr-in-Charge including mobilization and shifting of mechanical boring equipment/rig to each bore hole location and sitting up of equipment for boring collection undisrupted soil sample at 1 mtr intervals or at any change of strata in 10mm bore thin-walled tube including waxing, sealing, packing and transporting to the lab. Conduction necessary tests relavant is codes NBC/2005/SP-36 on all collected samples which include the determination of the following -
(i) Atterberg limits. (ii) Natural moisture. (Iii) Wet and dry density. (iv) Soil particles size distribution using sieve/hydrometer analysis. (v) Tri axial shear test C&D determination. (vi) Shrinkage limit. (vii) Consolidation limit. (viii) Specific gravity test for sand/rock (ix) Crusing strength of rock samples. (x) Permeability test. (xi) Chemical analysis for ground water sample (Minimum 02 samples). (xii) Free soil index. (xiii) Chemical analysis of soil. (xiv) Suggestion the type of foundation. (xv) Minimum depth of foundation.
(B) The soil investigation report shall submit completely covering the following in quadruplicate
(i) Bore log chart showing depth of soil strata.
(ii) Ground water level
(iii) Probable maximum and differential settlement.
(iv) Safe bearing capacity for various sizes of footing at different depth.
(v) Recommendations for type and depth of foundation.
(vi) Site plan building wise with RL of corner of building.
(vii) Bore hole location with reference to FFL/Fixed bench mark.
(viii) Bearing capacity and depth of foundation with reference to FFL/Fixed bench mark
(ix) Suitability of soil for refilling under floor and in trenches.
Note
(a) The location of bldg/bore shall be given by AGE (I) Ayodhya.
(b) The soil reports shall be submitted in 3 parts
(i) Field operations. (ii) Lab testing and sub soil properties. (iii) Foundation consideration with recommendation.
(c) Photographic record of soil investigation also attached with soil investigation report.
(d) Soil investigation report to be also vetted by HQ CWE Prayagraj before processing of payment.
